The Who “Live at Hull” back from the grave

In February 1970 The Who recorded their classic live album "Live at Leeds", but few know that they also recorded their show the next night at the City Hall in Hull. That show was actually considered superior to the Leeds show but it was later discovered that John Entwhistle's bass was not recorded on the first six songs. Now after 42 years the Hull show is now available in a 2 disc set surprisingly titled "Live at Hull". I bring this up because without the digital editing capabilities we enjoy today, this fantastic analog recording would have never seen the light of day. The engineers involved in the restoration were able to "fly in" Entwhistle's bass tracks from the Leeds recording and with considerable amounts of time and digital manipulation, complete the grafting  and complete the Hull tracks.
